About

With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have had the pleasure of guiding students from their very first lesson, with some progressing all the way to completing Grade 8 under my instruction. I have taught in a variety of settings, including 1-on-1 lessons, group sessions, and masterclasses.

My teaching approach is tailored to the needs of each student. For young children, I incorporate the Suzuki method and Solfege to build a strong foundation. For older children preparing for grade exams, I integrate specific techniques that develop both technical proficiency and musical understanding. For adult learners pursuing music as a hobby, I offer a streamlined approach that allows them to play their favourite tunes quickly, ensuring a fun and engaging experience.

Based in North West London, I provide flexible and accessible learning options designed to foster creativity and imagination. I am deeply committed to each student's musical journey, whether they are seeking professional growth or simply exploring music for enjoyment. My goal is for students to experience the transformative power of music and grow both personally and musically.

Just as my own teachers nurtured my development, I strive to do the same for my students. Over the years, I have helped many students achieve success in ABRSM and Trinity College grade exams, win scholarships, and receive awards in competitions.

In addition to teaching, I maintain an active performance career. I have performed at venues such as Wigmore Hall, St James's Piccadilly, and the Royal Opera House, and recording at studios like Abbey Road and RAK in London. My repertoire spans both classical and contemporary works, allowing me to connect with diverse audiences. I have also performed at cultural events such as the Embassy Series at St Martin-in-the-Fields and the Korean Music Festival in London.
